Bio

The La Salle Center for Entrepreneurship (LCE) was founded as the result of a collaboration between the La Salle School of Business and several alumni who saw the increasing demand for new venture support.

LCE’s vision is to be one of the leading resources in the Philadelphia region for people interested in learning about entrepreneurship, starting their own businesses, or enhancing their own existing entrepreneurial enterprises.  At the same time, the LCE has adopted many systems and methods surrounding innovation and how in this day in age, innovation is the key to successful ideas and fruitful businesses with the strive and spirit of entrepreneurship.

Our mission is to provide entrepreneurial training to La Salle’s learning community, foster and connect students and alumni with Philadelphia-area businesses, and develop interaction with the La Salle alumni network.

La Salle Enactus Team

Enactus is an international organization that connects student, academic and business leaders through entrepreneurial-based projects that empower people to transform opportunities into real, sustainable progress for themselves and their communities.

Guided by educators and supported by business leaders, Enactus students take the kind of entrepreneurial approach that empowers people to be a part of their own success. We work to transform both the lives of the people we serve, and in turn, Enactus students develop into more effective, values-driven leaders.

The La Salle University Enactus Team is one of over 1,700 teams in more than 40 countries using the power of entrepreneurship to transform opportunities into progress. La Salle Enactus operates as a catalyst for sustainable development, ensuring that its transformative work can grow and continue in the future even without further Enactus involvement. In 2015, La Salle Enactus received the Care Enables Progress Award (3rd in the United States) sponsored by Johnson & Johnson.
